Hi Dr. Steve,

I have been trying to reach conference speaker Kasia Grycza for about a month with no success. Do you know of a way to reach her other than her Polish email? Perhaps a telephone number?

Alternately, a contact at the conference committee that I could contact?

I did received the scanned funeral card files. Please feel free to delete your copy. I want to thank Mike, Steve, Jim,and Tom for helping with the scanning project.

My mother in law died this weekend after an extended illness. I will post and send out emails after the services for her this week.

I appreciate all the kind wishes I have received from UPGS attendees. I ask for your patience as I attend to family matters.

Steve Danko/Ceil Jensen,

I have three questions:

1) I sent an email of the funeral card scans I did. Did someone receive them and did Ceil get them? [I have the ~13MB file on my computer and I would like to delete it, if it has been successfully received.]

2) I did not get the handout that Tomasz Nitsch created from his presentations with the links. Can someone post that here?

3) Wasn’t Ceil going to post the other missing links/URLs from other presentations or do another mass email?

Sure wish I could be there! Thanks for marking my villages. I visited both of them last summer.

My Barnovsky family is from Barnowiec, PL (49.5156/20.7833)

My Koneval family is from Kolackov, SK (49.267/20.633)

I also have Leszczynski, Wroblewski and Oleskiewisc families up around Vilnius but I have not done any research on them.

The final line up of speakers is very exciting. The Polish Video Ceil will be presenting I have seen and it is touching and loving tribute to the Polish immingrants from the Detroit area, Eastside, Westside and Hamtramck. Evevery Polish conclave would be proud to have a video like this. The Eastern coast has made a video and very well done. Come on Chicago and Texas we expect to see something to honor the great Polish immigration to your states. There is great talent there. I look forward to a great conference. The best one yet. See you in SLC.
