Research at the Family History Library- Consultations Available
6:30pm-7:00pm – Hospitality
7:00pm-10:00pm – Conference Banquet, Keynote Speaker: Stephen P. Morse
The United Polish Genealogical Societies Conference will be held Friday, April 18 through Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Best Western Salt Lake Plaza Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. The tentative schedule has been posted. The final schedule will be posted when available. Registration is now open online and by mail.
Will there be any events planned for Monday besides the dinner? The schedule says consultations will be available in the library but on the main page under “History of the UPGS Conference” it says the library is closed Sundays and Mondays. So will we be able to use the library on Monday or not? I’d like to get a better idea of the full schedule so I can plan how long to be there.
Regarding “Military Records”, does this talk pertain to records in the U.S. or in Poland?
Chris,
The Family History Library is open Monday from 8AM – 5 PM, and Tuesday through Saturday from 8 AM – 9 PM. the Library is closed on Sundays and Monday evenings.
Right now, I am not certain what will be covered in the Military Records talk. I will update the blog with more details when the schedule is finalized.
Steve
Hi Chris,
The military records will be US military- and Canadian.
The only Polish records I am aware of are officer records, marriages and deaths for Galicia.

Monday is a day for research. The dinner is all we have planned. The hours on Monday are: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
What does “skype” mean?
